Dairy/soya free chocolates are made using chocolate manufactured by Moo Free. Check out their website for more information https://www.moofreechocolates.com/

All of our products are suitable for vegetarians. All products made using dairy/soya free chocolate are also suitable for vegans (this includes our marshmallows).

Allergen Information


Each batch of Mrs Button’s chocolates are 100% traceable to the original ingredients.

The equipment used to make dairy & soya free chocolates is the same as the dairy containing chocolate. Whilst all equipment is thoroughly washed between batches, we cannot guarantee that no trace remains.

It is a requirement to list 14 possible allergens within ingredients used in our products. Should you wish to have specific details then please get in touch. We can confirm that the following are absent in all of our products: Celery, Crustaceans, Eggs, Fish, Lupin, Mollusc, Mustard, Sesame seeds, Sulphur dioxide. Other possible allergens and their presence in our products are listed below:

Cereals containing gluten

All the chocolate used in our products is gluten free, however some of the additions we use do contain gluten:

  • Mini choc beans – used in chocolate bars, DIY pizza and DIY chocolate cottage/workshop
  • Fudge crumble – used in chocolate bars, DIY pizza and DIY chocolate cottage/workshop
  • Mini cereal balls – used in DIY pizza and DIY chocolate cottage/workshop
  • Maltesers – used in chocolate bars, DIY pizza and DIY chocolate cottage/workshop

Milk

All the chocolate used in our products contain milk except for the Dairy/soya free chocolate.

Several ingredients we use in our products also contain milk:

  • Popping candy – used in chocolate bars
  • Mini choc beans – used in chocolate bars, DIY pizza and DIY chocolate cottage/workshop
  • Fudge crumble – used in chocolate bars, DIY pizza and DIY chocolate cottage/workshop
  • Mini cereal balls – used in DIY pizza and DIY chocolate cottage/workshop
  • Maltesers – used in chocolate bars, DIY pizza and DIY chocolate cottage/workshop

Nuts & Peanuts

All our products are made in a kitchen that contains nuts and therefore we cannot guarantee that any cross contamination doesn’t occur. However, we can guarantee that when we are making nut containing products no other products are made at the same time and that all equipment is thoroughly washed in between batches of products.

Nut based ingredients used:

  • Brazil nuts – used to make chocolate coated Brazil nuts
  • Hazelnuts – used to make chocolate bars
  • Almonds– used to make chocolate bars
  • Pistachios– used to make chocolate bars
  • Raisins – processed in the same factory but not on same line as nuts and therefore cross contamination may occur
  • Mini choc beans – processed in the same factory but not on same line as nuts and therefore cross contamination may occur

Soya

Soya is present in all our chocolate with the exception of Dairy/soya free chocolate. The following ingredients also contain soya:

  • Fudge crumble – used in chocolate bars, DIY pizza and DIY chocolate cottage/workshop
  • Mini cereal balls – used in DIY pizza and DIY chocolate cottage/workshop
  • Maltesers – used in chocolate bars, DIY pizza and DIY chocolate cottage/workshop
